ID RUN (motor identification run)

WARNING! 

With Normal or Reduced ID run the motor will run at up to approximately 

50…100% of the nominal speed during the motor ID run. ENSURE THAT IT IS SAFE 
TO RUN THE MOTOR BEFORE PERFORMING THE MOTOR ID RUN!

Note:

 Ensure that possible Safe Torque Off and emergency stop circuits are closed during the 

motor ID run. 

Check the direction of rotation of the motor before starting the motor 
ID run. During the run (Normal or Reduced), the motor will rotate in the 
forward direction.
