7.1.3. Why do I need to use the RiverSurveyor program?
RiverSurveyor provides you with an easy to use interface for communicating with your ADP
(and other sensors) and to display the information collected. While ADP data can be collected
exclusively using the internal recorder (§
3.7
), there would be no integration of other sensors, no
additional discharge parameters, and no visual feedback. As such, RiverSurveyor is the preferred
communication method.
7.1.4. What are the main features of the RiverSurveyor program?

Display vessel track with velocity vectors in x-y coordinates or latitude/longitude
