Chapter 5. Configuring the Easy 2
The device is capable for using and operating for the following type of tasks. Then you will
found the main important configuration options for the listed operation modes, using the
Easy2
as:
•
As a monitoring GSM relay (pre-configured by default)
•
As a mobile network relay (entry in remote monitoring software, Enigma IP receiver or
entry in SIMS Cloud®)
•
Acting as a stand-alone alarm with mobile network signaling (without remote
monitoring signal)
•
Acting as a standalone alarm with SMS notification
•
Input for monitoring, output for control / gate opening
Getting started the programming!
1. Load the factory sample configuration .CFG file (
EASY2_V21R08F_CFG_EN.cfg
file in the
EasyTerm
package) and browse with the
Browse
button.
2. Then send the open configuration to
Easy2S
®
using the
Write config
button.
3. Wait for uploading of the default configuration then the device will be restarted.
4. Then make the additional settings according to the selected operating mode and one of the
following purpose/operation mode.
5.1 GSM transmitter settings
The device
has pre-configured by default for performing in GSM-transmitter operation mode.
The default configuration parameters shall be checked before using and modify if you need.
GSM transmitter settings
Load the factory default .CFG extension template by the
Browse
button.
Choose the
GPRS Settings
parameter group at the
Device Type
. Then the program will load
the related parameters.
