The
GSM state
(GSM network status) or
GPRS state
(mobile network status) clearly indicates the
protocol that the device is currently connected to the network.
You can also see the
Status
of the device here. Use
the
Refresh
button to update the vital sign of the
device anytime.
If the "
connected
”
status appears at the
Status
field, it indicates that the connection to the device was
successful.
The "
disconnected
" indicates that the device is
disconnected and unavailable (in which case press the
Open
button to reconnect, or if it still fails to
disconnect, disconnect and reconnect the USB cable
and the device. Or restart disconnect and reconnect
the cable and press the button again.) - if the cable is
connected, press the
Connect
button.
In this case - if the device is not connected - the
Login
Failed
message will appear in the
Terminal window

it can be caused, for example, by an incorrectly
entered password. Then enter the correct serial port
password or the TCP-IP connection password (at
GPRS Login
) and try the connection again.
