Installing or replacing a column plate in the column compartment

6. After the plate bottoms on the lower guide, push the plate toward the
latch until the latch engages the plate.
7. Slide the column upward toward the fitting, and insert the passive
preheater tubing, with the fitting and ferrule, into the inlet end of the
column or column bank.
Note:
If you are installing or replacing a column plate in an APC system,
the column bank will be attached at either fitting position 1a or 2a.
