7. Bend the tubing so that it immediately extends upward after the fitting,
and then back towards the rear of the drip tray, as shown in the figure
Note:
The bending ensures that this section of tubing is the lowest
portion exiting from the valve so that any drips fall into the drip tray.
8. Route the tubing to the appropriate port in the inlet valve, as shown
below.
Correct bending and routing of tubing from inlet valve:
Important:
•
Route tubing from ports 8 (B), 3, and 4 up and over the inlet valve
and then down through the opening at the rear of the drip tray.
•
Route tubing from ports 2, 1, 7 (W), 6, and 5 up to the right-hand
side of the inlet valve and then down through the opening at the
rear of the drip tray.
9. Connect the new, passive-preheater tubing to the appropriate position
on the inlet valve, and then tighten the fitting, finger-tight plus an
additional 3/4-turn, using the 1/4-inch open-end wrench.
Route these
tubes up and over
the inlet valve.
Route these tubes up and
to the right-hand side of
the inlet valve
