3 Maintaining the 30-cm single-zone column manager

To install the new passive-preheater assembly:
1. Install the new passive preheater, and use the T20 TORX driver to
secure it in place with the two screws.
2. Use the torque driver to tighten each screw to 16 inch-pounds of torque.
3. Connect the new, passive-preheater tubing to the appropriate position
on the primary column manager’s inlet valve, and then tighten the
fitting, finger-tight plus an additional 3/4-turn, using the 1/4-inch
open-end wrench.
