STEPTRACK MODULE INSTALLED — will appear on display if steptrack

module is installed.

a) Verify that "PWR" is displayed indicating that the pedestal is energized.

Use softkeys to apply pedestal power, as required.

Ensure that all personnel are clear of the pedestal equipment.
Failure to observe this warning may result in serious injury or
death.

NOTE

For versions without joystick, delete steps b) through I) and l)
through m).

NOTE

To stop pedestal movement in the event of a malfunction or
emergency, press the STOP button on the keypad. Pressing the
STOP button places all axes in Standby mode.

b) Press RATE softkey on azimuth side of display.

c) Verify that "RATE" is displayed.

d) Enter 2.0 and press the ENT key on the numeric keypad.

e) Verify that displayed azimuth position increases. If displayed position

angle changes erratically or not at all, stop antenna by releasing joystick.
Refer to system documentation for troubleshooting procedures.
