The device is connected to the external Garmin GTS 8000 TCAS II unit and it is
possible to display the output from this unit on the GTN 650/750 screen. To display
the Traffic information, touch the
Traffic
key on the home page. The GTN 650/750
unit displays only the traffic advisory information. The traffic altitude filter is possible
to display on PFD and GTN 650/750 independently to each other. To choose
altitude filter on the GTN touch the
Altitude filter
key and then select the desired
altitude filter by touching the BELOW, NORMAL, ABOVE or UNRESTRICTED keys.The
TFC
shall be left in UNRESTRICTED mode at all times. This is especially useful toavoid
a runway incursion on line up. The BLW, NORMAL, ABOVE, mode is at the discretion
of the pilots.
