INCOMING MESSAGES
Incoming messages are signaled by a blue message light on the Bluesky controlhead. The crew
should monitor this indicator regularly during flight.
Retrieving and Reading Messages:
Highlight “MESSAGES” in the main menuand press the Right
Menu Navigation button.
Next,using the Menu Navigation button highlight “READMESSAGES” and press the Right Menu
Navigationbutton. The screen will display ”INBOX” on line 1 of the LCD Screen, line 2 it willdisplay
“Message = [Current Message Number] \ [Total Messages]”(HighestCurrent Message Number is
the most recent).
To view the message that youwant to read, use the Up and Down Menu Navigation button until
the Messagenumber you wish to read is displayed. Press the “OK” button and your messagewill
be displayed. Use the Up or Down Menu Navigation button to view the entiremessage.
At the beginning of each message the sender will be displayed, then the subjectline and last the
text body. Senders can be any holder of a company blueskylogin or approved emails. The
following important logins need to be recognizedby all crew members:
susip3 : Bluesky Master Account (THE BOSS)
susiairtracking : Flight Following
susiairguest : Any of a number of guests holding accounts
ongen : Papua customer account
Acknowledge Messages:
You may press “OK anytime while reading a messageto get to the
“acknowledge” and “delete” options.
When “OK” is pressed, the LCD Screen displays“Acknowledge?” You can press the ‘1’ button
to send an acknowledgement receipt to the sender oryou may press the ‘2’ button and no
acknowledgement will be sent.
