Rolling takeoffs are preferred for passenger comfort and to minimize propellerchips if ample
runway is available. Advance the power levers smoothly ensuringthat the oil temperatures and
pressures are rising normally, the propeller rpmstabilizes at 2020 RPM, and that the Torque, ITT and
the Ng remain withinlimits.

NOTE
As airspeed increases, torque will increase with a constant power lever setting. Adjust the
power levers as required to avoid exceeding the calculated take-off power setting.
WARNING
it is mandatory to set full calculated take-off power as derived from the power setting graph
(refer to AFM) for every take-off, regardless of aircraft weight or runway length. Reduced power
take-offs are prohibited.if either engine cannot achieve the full calculated takeoff power torque
as published in the takeoff power setting graph, or if the itt or ng limit is reached before the full
calculated take-off power torque value is reached, the engine is not airworthy and the aircraft
must not be flown.
