5.20 Climb Airspeed
Normal cruise climb airspeeds are 135 to 145 KIAS.
The speed may be varied for reasons of terrain, weather, ATC, or passenger
comfort (unpressurized aircraft).
If climbing towards rising terrain and a steeper climb rate is required, crew shall
use Vx 104 KIAS best angle of climb airspeed.
NOTE
To conserve the airframe life it is recommended to apply TCL setting of 85% TRQ and climb at
airspeed of 145 KIAS.
