Terrain: MSA in our sector is 9500 which is the highest, towers around theairport at 238‘.
Weather:
Cloud base 1500 ft. Crosswind from the right
Operational:
Radar vectored approach. I will hand fly from top of descent. Lotsof traffic so I will
keep my speed up on the approach and configure at 1500 ft.Due to the strong crosswind let‘s
plan a landing with flaps 18 and an approachspeed of 95. I will plan to touchdown at about
3000ft and use full beta.
Fuel on arrival is 700 Kgs. If there are any delays we will hold here with the fuelwe have. That
gives us over 2 hours.
Threats:
Crosswind mentioned and flaps 18 planned.
Any questions?
