Determine the reason the loading dose
was unable to be delivered before re-
attempting a loading dose. Once the
reason for the cancellation is cleared,
loading dose delivery may be re-initiated
(if desired). Unless the loading dose
settings are reprogrammed, the last
loading dose rate setting from just
prior to cancellation will continue to be
applied. Reprogram the loading dose, if
desired.

screen, to continue delivering the
loading dose at the new, reduced rate,

. To alter the rate, press

to stop the normal infusion,
then enter the Options menu to
reprogram the Loading Dose (this
method restarts the infusion from the
beginning, so you may need to manually
subtract any loading dose delivered prior
to the cancellation from the amount
programmed).
