Attach the cable to the transducer. Fill the protective boot with couplant compound and push in
place to cover connection (Figure 3).
NOTE: Ensure that the upstream/downstream orientation in respect to the transducer cables
and the 1020 connectors is correct.

Prepare the area you marked by de-greasing the surface, if needed, and removing any grit,
corrosion, rust, loose paint or surface irregularities with the abrasive pipe conditioning material
provided. Clean the pipe of all debris and abrasive particles
.

Return Mounting Track Assembly to the marked location.
z
Using a flat blade screwdriver or 5/16” nutdriver, secure transducer Mounting Track Assembly
straps to seat the assembly firmly to the pipe.
z
Make sure transducers are a matched pair. They both should have the same serial number but
marked either “A” or “B” (e.g., 100A and 100B).
z
For each transducer, place the supplied O-Ring gasket around the recess in the transducer’s
footprint (Figure 3).
z
Locate the Reference Index Marker on the Mounting Track Assembly (Figure 4). Determine the
upstream direction and feed the appropriate transducer cable from the flowmeter through the
end plate of the Mounting Track Assembly. Press cable bushing into hole (Figure 5).
