Press the [ENTER] key to select [Diesel Fuel]. Note that the screen now lists an estimate of the
liquid’s Sonic Velocity (Vs), its Viscosity (in centistokes) and its Specific Gravity (Density SG). All
these parameters can be edited. This allows you to “fine-tune” the liquid so that it is as close as
possible to the actual liquid to be measured.

In this section, we’ll explore how to override the meter recommendations. Please note that the modifi-
cations shown in the following example are only intended to provide examples of the meter’s flexibility.
For this example, we will discuss the procedures required to mount a set of 1021 transducers of size
[C] in Reflect Mode (see next page).
