Setting up the anti-collision alarm zone

1. Press the
MENU
button.
2. Select
Alarm Setup
.
3. Select
Navigation Alarms Setup
.
4. Select
Setup Alarm Zone
.
If you are using the chart application when you access this menu
item, a visual indication of the alarm zone is displayed in front
of the vessel icon.
5. To specify the range in front of your vessel that will be monitored,
press the
ADJUST RANGE
softkey and use the UniControl to
adjust the value.
6. To specify the bearing from your vessel (width of the zone),
press the
ADJUST ANGLE
softkey and use the UniControl to
adjust the value.
7. Press the
OK
button to save the changes, or the
CANCEL
button to revert to the previously saved settings.

triggers an alarm when
a target is within a
specified zone. You can
adjust the sensitivity of
the alarm. Ensure that
the sensitivity is not set
too low, or targets may
be missed and the alarm
