Function

Description
Bit1
Bit2
SW3
Set the optical
interface rate.
ON
ON
Set the optical interface rate to STM-4.
OFF
OFF
Set the optical interface rate to STM-1.
By default, Bit1 and Bit2 of SW3 are OFF.
If Bit1 and Bit2 of SW3 are not concurrently ON nor OFF and the optical
interface rate is not configured, the iTN2100 still sets the rate to STM-1 by
default.
When you set the optical interface rate of the OPCOM3500E-2STM1/4-M
through DIP switch or software, the two optical interfaces must be set to the
same rate (STM-1 or STM-4). If two OPCOM3500E-2STM1/4-M cards are
installed, the two optical interfaces must also be set to the same rate.
You can use the
add-card
command to configure adding the OPCOM3500E-C-
2STM1-M card or the OPCOM3500E-C-2STM4-M card. You can not use the
DIP switch to re-select the card after successfully configuring the card with the
command.
6.1.6 Alarms
Table 6-7 lists alarms of the OPCOM3500E-2STM1/4-M.
