15.2 OPCOM3500E-32E1/32E1-BL

15.2.1 Appearance and functions

Appearance

Function

The OPCOM3500E-32E1 is a 32-way E1 unbalanced electrical interface
service card on the iTN2100, which is unconfigurable.

The OPCOM3500E-32E1-BL is a 32-way E1 electrical interface service
card on the iTN2100, which can be set to balanced or unbalanced interface
through software or the DIP switch. The latest configuration overwrites the
previous one. You should configure at least 16 ways once (1–16, or 17–32).

The OPCOM3500E-32E1 and OPCOM3500E-32E1-BL have the same
functions.



Provide two SCSI interfaces. Each SCSI interface supports 16 ways of E1
signals.



In RX, it maps E1 signals received from the E1 interface on the front panel
to the VC12, and then performs cross connection or aggregation through
the aggregation card. In TX, it demaps VC12 from the aggregation card
and then transmits them to the E1 interface on the front panel.



Each E1 supports E1 interface inner loopback and outer loopback.



Support E1 retiming. The E1 retiming sources can be the system clock, 2M
external clock, or one of the first four E1 interfaces.



Provide complete lower order path alarms and performance monitoring.



Support hot swapping.

15.2.2 Slots

The OPCOM3500E-32E1/32E1-BL can be plugged into slots 1–5 and 8–12 on the iTN2100.
