Appearance
Function
The OPCOM3500E-8V35 is an 8-way V.35 data service card on the iTN2100.
Map V.35 data within itself to the VC12 of SDH directly or indirectly (V.24 data is
aggregated by the OPCOM3500E-DXC-DS0 first and then mapped to the VC12 of the
SDH), and each way of V.35 data occupy a way of E1 signals.
Provide four HDB26 interfaces. Each interface transmits two ways of V.35 data.
Support application in DCE mode.
Support independent configuration of bandwidth for each V.35 channel. You can set the
E1 channel to framed or unframed:
In framed E1, set V.35 bandwidth to N×64 Kbit/s (N: 1–31).
In unframed E1, set V.35 bandwidth to 2 Mbit/s.
Support timeslot automatical track in TS0 transparent transmission.
Support local crystal oscillator, E1-1 recovery clock, or E1-2 recovery clock as clock
source.
Support TX and RX phase adjustment on each V.35 interface independently.
The V.35 data channel supports independent configurations of each interfaces and two
loopback modes:
Outer loopback on the V.24 interface side
Inner loopback on the V.24 interface side
Support E1 BERT. When you send test codes to the backplane, you can test only one E1
once.
Support hot swapping.
17.1.2 Slots
The OPCOM3500E-8V35 can be plugged into slots 1–5 and 8–12 on the iTN2100.
