Waveforms from the high and low level outputs are not available at the
same time. Either the low-level outputs or the high-level outputs can be
made active at a time. If turned on, the high level outputs are active first.
For safety reasons, the low-level outputs are turned off when the
generator is first turned on.
Use the following command to enable the low-level output:
OUTPut:TYPE {HIGH | LOW}
The default state is
HIGH
. This means that when the output is turned on
(OUTP ON), the signal will be available from the high-level output
connector. Use the
LOW
option to route the DAC circuit to the low-level
output.
The query:
OUTPut:TYPE?
queries the output type and returns HIGH or LOW.
Output Configuration
Commands
The output configuration commands control the output function, shape,
frequency, amplitude, filter and state. The Instrument Control Panel from
WaveCAD below demonstrates high-level implementation of output
control.
