4-1 Mounting Slave Units
This section describes the DIN Track mounting method for GX-series Digital I/O Slave Units, Analog I/O
Slave Units, and Encoder Input Slave Units.
Prepare the following devices.
There are no restrictions in the orientation unless otherwise specified in the instruction pages for the
Slave Unit.
Mounting is possible in any of the following 6 orientations.

Hook the top side of groove on backside of the Slave Unit to the top side of the DIN
track, lower the DIN track mounting hook, engage the Slave Unit to the track, and press
up the mounting hook to fix it.
