Introduction
Information for operators, key operators
Depending on your configuration, the Océ VarioPrint
®
2100/2110 has 3 or 4
front-loading paper trays. All the paper trays can handle the same variety of copy
materials (
see ‘Media and paper tray specifications’ on page 292
). You can add the
media to the paper trays while the printer is running. When a paper tray is empty, the
Océ VarioPrint
®
2100/2110 automatically switches to another paper tray that
contains the same media.
All the paper trays of the Océ VarioPrint
®
2100/2110 can process oversize formats
(A3+ and R-Ledger). You must adapt the paper trays to use oversize paper (
see ‘Load
oversize media’ on page 263
).
The paper trays
You can check the status of the paper trays on the operator panel. The icons of the
paper trays in the main screen show the paper level in the paper trays
The icons of
the main screen on page 39
.
You can also check the LED on the paper tray to see which paper tray is empty. The
LEDs on the paper trays are off when the trays are full. When a paper tray runs
empty, the LED blinks.
How you must load the media, for example face down, depends on the media type
and the destination of your print job.
The following table shows where you can find more information about how to load
the media.
