Secure protocols
Secure protocols
Introduction
Here you can specify which protocol is used to access and manage the settings in the
Océ VarioPrint
®
2100/2110 Settings Editor, HTTP or HTTPs. HTTPs is the secure
version of HTTP, the HyperText Transfer Protocol that enables the transfer of
information over networks.
Note: When the 'High' check box for the security level is checked, HTTPs is by
default the used protocol. If you want to use HTTP, you must first uncheck the 'High'
check box. With this action, you will decrease the security level. Then you can specify
that HTTP is used.
Attention: If you decrease the security level, the system does not get back the
'High' (Factory default) notification, even when you check the check box again.
Change the used protocol
1.
Access the 'Settings' tab in the Océ VarioPrint
®
2100/2110 Settings Editor.

Select 'Security'.
3.
Select 'Secure protocols'.
4.
Enter the protocol of your choice in the text box.
5.
Click 'Apply' to confirm or 'Reset' to undo the change.
