Create an A5 booklet with the booklet maker
Create an A5 booklet with the booklet maker
Introduction
You can create an A5 booklet from an A4 document. An A5 booklet is printed on A4
size sheets. The printer reduces the A4 images into A5 images, reshuffles the page
order to print a booklet and puts 2 images side by side on one sheet. The booklet
maker folds and staples the booklet automatically.
Before you begin
Before you can use the booklet maker you must enable the booklet maker at the Océ
VarioPrint
®
2100/2110 tab of the printer properties.
How to create an A5 booklet with the booklet maker
1.
In your application, click File - Print...
The print window opens.
2.
Select the required printer and click 'Properties'.
The document properties window opens.

Define the job settings in the available setting bars.
4.
Click the 'Layout' settings bar. Set the document to 2-sided, Portrait, Long Edge
binding.
At '1-sided or 2-sided', select '2-sided'.
At 'Orientation', select 'Portrait'.
At 'Binding Edge', select 'Long edge'.

Click the 'Finishing' settings bar. Set a booklet staple and set the output destination
to booklet maker.
At 'Staple', select 'Booklet staple'.
6.
Click 'OK' to confirm your print job settings.
7.
Click 'OK' to send the print job to the printer.
Result
The print job is send to the printer. Be aware that the print job can arrive at the
mailbox or user box of the printer.
The booklet maker folds the sheets over the short edge of the media and adds the
staples in the middle to create an A5 booklet. The stapled booklets are delivered to
the finisher.
