Introduction
Task for operators
This procedure describes how to create a folded and stapled A5 booklet. The
originals are A4. To create A5 booklets, the system requires A4 media.
Before you begin
Make sure that one of the paper trays contains A4 media.
Create an A5 booklet from A4 originals
1.
Put the originals into the automatic document feeder.
2.
Press the function key 'Copy'.
3.
Select the 'Booklet' template.
In the 'Layout' section, the system automatically sets the 'Layout' setting to 'Booklet'.
The screen of the operator panel displays A4 as the media size of 'Original'. If not,
do the following:

Press the function key for 'Original'

In the 'Paper' section, press the function key for 'Paper' to select A4.

If the screen of the operator panel does not display A4 as the media size of the 'Print'.
If not, press the function key for 'Print'.
5.
In the 'Paper' section, press the function key for 'Paper' to select A4.
The zoom factor is automatically set to 71%.
6.
Use the numeric keys to enter the number of prints.
7.
Press the Start key .
