Volume Controls
Description
Each multiline terminal user can control the volume of incoming ringing, splash tone, Paging,
Background Music, Handsfree and your handset. Multiline terminals consolidate all
adjustments into the volume buttons. Press the VOLUME
▲
or VOLUME
▼
to adjust the
volume level for whichever feature
is active (outside call, ICM, ICM ringing, paging, etc.). Press these keys when the telephone is
idle to adjust the contrast level of the telephone display. The users should set the volumes for
their most comfortable levels.
Conditions
The contrast is not adjustable when the telephone has background music enabled.
Multiline terminal users can press the Speaker key and dial Code 729 to
further increase station ring volume.
Headset volume, off-hook ringing volume, station ringing volume, and
speaker volume adjustments are determined by Program 15-02-27.
The LCD of the SV9100 terminals provide a volume bar indication while
adjusting the following volumes or controls:
Speaker Volume
Handset/Headset Volume
Background Music (BGM) Volume
Ring Volume/Off-Hook Ring Volume
LCD Contrast
With the SV9100, the handset/speaker volume for intercom calls or outside
calls can be adjusted.
