This section describes the troubleshooting procedures for Service Call Error Codes.
1. Check connection between ECN16 of IOD2 and
Clutch (DCLM)
2. Check voltages below:
a)
Voltage drop ( ) between ECN16-3 and
ECN2-8 then, replace the clutch (DCLM)
b) Voltage jump ( ) between ECN1-2 and
ECN2-12 then, replace IOD2 PWB
3. Replace MCTL PWB
1. Check connection between ECN17 of IOD2 and
Clutch (DCLY 2).
2. Check voltages below:
a)
Voltage drop ( ) between ECN17-3 and
ECN2-8 then, replace the clutch (DCLY)
b) Voltage jump ( ) between ECN1-1 and
ECN2-12 then, replace IOD2 PWB
3. Replace MCTL PWB

Cause of Error
1. Failure of MCTL P.W.B.
CPU EEPROM
1. Turn on and off the power switch.
2. Above method 1 does not work, implement
"C3 Error Clearance Procedure".
3. Replace the failed MCTL P.W.B

C4 Hard Error of MCTL
Control Circuit. 1. Failure of MCTL P.W.B. 1. Turn on and off the power switch.
2. Replace the failed MCTL P.W.B
C7 Process Timing Error. 1. Power Feeding Failure
2. MM Failure
3. MM Input Circuit Failure 1. Implement the same clearance procedures
employed for E2 error.
Note: MM stands for OPC Belt Drive Main
Motor.
