SuperScript 4400 — Maintenance Guide

17. Color Misregistration - 

Color misregistration is caused between the two colors.

Main Causes

1.

Photoconductor belt module is not properly installed.

2.

photoconductor belt module is deformed.

3.

Cleaning brush is unstable in the operation.

4.

Rotational load on the photoconductor belt module is excessive.

Countermeasures

1.

Reseat the photoconductor belt module properly. 

2.

Replace the photoconductor belt module with a new cartridge.

3.

Replace the cleaning brush. (See Chapter 7)
