5.5.7.1 Telnet
The insecure TELNET service may be enabled or disabled. When enabled the WCM unit
may be managed using a Telnet client, if disabled Telnet access is not permitted.
5.5.7.2 SSH
The secure SSH V2 protocol is available for secure, encrypted management of the WCM
unit. SSH access can be enabled or disabled.
5.5.7.3 HTTP
Web browser access can be enabled or disabled.
5.5.7.4 Timeout
To prevent a management session from being left open permanently with associated
security risks, an inactivity timeout is applied to the connection for both Telnet and SSH.
If there is no activity detected during the timeout period, the management session will be
closed by the WCM unit.
Note, that for SSH keep alive packet reception will not maintain the session, only data
transfer packets will count.
