5.7.3 Test
If a port has a test mode enabled it is indicated in this column. The indications are as
below:

Test mode not active on this port
LL
Local Loop Applied
OL
Outside Loop Applied
RL
Remote Loop command has been sent to remote unit to request a remote
loop is applied
RLL
Remote Loop command request has been received and the loop has been
applied.
RL+Bert RL applied, and BERT test in progress
OAM-RL OAM Loopback Requested
OAM-ROL OAM loopback applied
Note,
When any test mode is indicated, live traffic will no longer pass over that port to prevent
LAN loops being introduced.
5.7.4 Alarms
The alarms column shows the state of alarms on the interface. An alarm shown in upper
case, eg LKDN, indicates a current alarm. An alarm shown in lower case, eg lkdn, shows
a historic alarm which has now cleared. This alarm display will clear when the status
screen is cleared.
Where the alarm column shows – it indicates no alarms are present, or have been present
since the last status clear.
