5.3.7.4 Outgoing Controls
The LVDS interface supports the TR control output.
The options for TR are
ON
Always ON, normal operation
OFF
Always off
LOOP
Looped to incoming RR
5.3.7.5 Incoming Controls
The current state of the incoming modem control RR is displayed.
5.3.7.6 Crypto Resync Control Signal
The control signal RS can be configured as follows:
rs Drive
“Not driven”, “LVDS” and “TTL” are the options
rs Polarity “Normal” and “Inverted” are the options
The incoming data is examined to see whether it contains valid HDLC packets. If not then
the RS control signal can be pulsed to initiate a Crypto Resync. This resync pulse has
nominally 1 second duration after which the system waits for 7 seconds before checking
for synchronisation again.
