5.2 Operational Modes
The operational mode menu defines the operating mode for the unit. The menu is shown

5.2.1 Aggregation Mode
Aggregation mode is intended to ease the set up of the device when used in a FAN
OUT/Aggregation application with a WCC/WCM Aggregator product.
There are two options:
Disabled
Normal Operating Modes apply
End Point
Aggregation End point is enabled.
When the unit is configured for end point operation, then several other parameters are
automatically changed to comply with the requirements. For example, the VLAN mode is
forced to QinQ/S-Tag and the multiple FID table is disabled.
Selection of the Aggregation End Point mode enables the End Point Discovery Protocol
which allows the WCM unit to automatically detect and configure the aggregation tag used
on the E1 link.
