5.3.2.7.2 Notifications
The Notifications menu allows traps and alarms to be generated based on alarms or
warnings raised by the SFP diagnostic information.
The menu is shown below, with a common set up with traps/alarms enabled for the high
termperature and low receive power.

The options for each notification is as follows:

Do not generate a trap or alarm for this diagnostic parameter
Alarm
Generate an alarm and trap when the Alarm threshold is
exceeded.
Alarm & Warning
Generate an alarm and trap when either the Alarm or Warning
threshold has been exceeded.
