5.3.8.5 LCAS/VCAT
Even though WCM units are all single WAN port models, they do support LCAS (Link
Capacity Adjustment Scheme) however they will only support single link VCAT (Virtual
Concatenation) if required.
The options are
OFF
Use the entire framed or unframed payload for data
VCAT only
In framed modes only, insert a single VCAT Control byte in the first
frame of each multiframe, but mark as fixed.
VCAT+LCAS In framed modes, insert a single VCAT control byte and run the
LCAS protocol over the top.
5.3.8.6 LCAS Status
In the event that LCAS is being used, the LCAS status screen gives useful information
about the status of the link.

5.3.8.7 Layer 1 Management
The Layer 1 management menu is used to configure the L1 frame control support such as
rate limiting, alarms and Link Loss Forwarding.
