Test Configuration
Surge Tests Section
In the Surge Tests section, Surge and PD tests can be enabled, and values can be provided for test voltages, EAR limits,
and more. Line-to-line/Reference EAR+™ limits can be applied to individual leads (phases) or to all leads. Pulse-to-pulse
EAR+™ limits and coil reference limits are always applied to all leads.

The ADX allows you to select up to three reference waveforms for your surge tests. Due to potential differences
between phases, each reference waveform should be assigned to a specific phase (A, B, or C) of a known good Asset
to ensure that each waveform for the device under tests is compared to a valid reference. If you use only one surge
reference, it will be applied to all surge waveforms collected.
If you create a test configuration for single coil testing, two references can be used—one for each direction.
