The Manual mode RLC screen is used when testing with the RLC adapter. As the example below illustrates, only the
first column (LEAD 1-2) is used when testing with the adapter because only one phase can be tested. Three-phase
assets can be tested using the adapter, but only one phase at a time.
NOTE: A footswitch is typically used in this application because the operator will need both hands to
make contact with the asset under test.
3. Test leads options are all Kelvin-type leads. Ensure that all four probe tips make proper contact with the armature
bars.
4. Press the footswitch to activate testing.
5. Results will appear in the RLC Test screen similar to the example shown below.
6. Press the SAVE icon in the top toolbar to save test results to the database.
7. Press EXIT to leave the screen.
