NOTE: For single-coil testing, check the Lead 1 and Lead 2 boxes if you plan to test in both directions. If
you plan to test in only one direction, check the Lead 1 box only. Lead 3 is not used in coil testing.
4. Ensure that Surge Test is enabled.
5. Check the Zero Start Override box if you want to use this feature.
6. PPEAR+ Limit cannot be used in conjunction with Zero Start Override; checking the Zero Start Override box will
automatically uncheck the PPEAR+ Limit box.
7. Set the Coil Reference Limit to the maximum allowed percentage of wave area deviation compared to the reference.
NOTE: Using Zero Start Override is not required. In some cases, ramping the target voltage provides a
more precise indication of the point where an issue occurs. Jumping directly to the target voltage might
miss the point in the waveform where such an issue occurs.
8.
DO NOT set anything up in the Reference Waveforms section; this will be done during the test session.
9. When you have completed your entries, press the SAVE icon at the top of the screen
