Single-phase Motor or DC Motor Connection
WARNING: When performing high-voltage tests, voltage is present on all three test leads if
they are plugged into their receptacles. Follow the proper connection instructions for single-
phase and coil testing to avoid injury or death from severe electrical shock.
1. Plug ADX test leads 1 and 2 into their respective receptacles on the back of the tester.
2.
DO NOT plug in test lead 3.
3. Plug the ground cable into its receptacle on the back of the ADX.
4. Label the leads on the Asset 1 (positive lead) and 2 (negative lead).
5. Connect corresponding numbered test leads to each numbered Asset lead.
6. Connect the black ground lead to an Asset ground terminal or other solid ground contact.
Coil Connection
1. Plug the ADX test leads 1 and 2 into their respective receptacles on the back of the tester.

DO NOT plug test lead 3 or the ground cable into their receptacles on the back of the ADX
.
3. Label the leads/connections on the Asset (coil) 1 and 2.
4. Connect corresponding numbered test leads to each numbered Asset lead.
