Test Configuration
Use the Test Configuration screen to edit or copy existing test configurations, or to create new ones.
Icons at the top right of the screen (left to right) are used to: delete, copy, add new, or save test configurations. The
last icon is used to exit the Test Configuration screen and return to the previous screen.
When the Test Configuration screen opens, it displays the first test configuration found in the overall list. To change
the view to another test configuration, touch the arrow to the right of the Test Configuration field then select the
configuration you want to view.

Naming Conventions
Use a naming convention that is consistent across your organization.
Ideally, the name should provide some insight into what the test configuration is intended to do. An example such as
“400V Std HiPot Surge PD” suggests that the test is for a 400V motor and will include a standard HiPot DC Test with
a Surge test that includes partial discharge. Some organizations might have a process in place the uses a code such as
AC400DCH1S2 that means the same thing.
In any case, because users will need to become familiar with the approach,
ensuring that names are used consistently is
most important.
