Assets
Selecting Assets
In best practice, the first step in any testing process is selecting an asset.
1. Using the preferred tool described above, locate the asset you want to test.
2. Tap on the asset to highlight it in the list. Information about the asset appears in the Details section. Information
can include nameplate content, test sequence assignment, and attributes assigned to the asset. Note in particular
the Active Test Configuration assigned to the asset.
3. The selected asset name and its active test configuration will be identified at the top of the screen here and in the
screens you use when testing.
4. Press the SELECT ASSET button to select the asset for testing.
5. If you want to edit the asset or create a new one, press the appropriate button for those functions.
6. When you have selected the asset you need, press the EXIT icon in the top right corner of the screen to exit the
Asset Select screen and return to the previous screen.
