Manual RLC Test
NOTE: The examples in this section follow the best practice of selecting an asset with an active test
configuration. However, selecting as asset is not required. The process and functionality are alike in most
aspects. For more information on using Manual Mode screens without selecting an asset, refer to “” on
page 76.
Use this screen to manually execute Resistance, Inductance, and Capacitance tests. Elements within the screen provide
control over how the tests are executed.
In manual mode, the software will use limits specified in the test configuration, but you directly specify test parameters
such as the Imbalance Calculation to use, Temperature Compensation parameters, and which tests to enable.
From this screen, you can make the following adjustments if needed:
Select the Imbalance Calculation to use during resistance, inductance, and impedance testing by using the
Imbalance Calculation drop-down list.
Select which tests you want to run by moving the toggles to the right.
For temperature compensation, select the winding material using the Temperature Compensation drop-down
list then enter the Actual and Correct To values as needed.
