switch is turned on.

• To improve windshield and front door glasses from fogging, airflow mode is fixed at HEAT/DEF when the
ambient temperature is low. However, ambient temperature correction does not operate when the temperature
is set at 15.0 °C.

• When the ambient temperature is below -5 °C {23 °F}, this correction fixes the A/C compressor in OFF mode
to protect the A/C compressor (that is, to prevent A/C compressor fluid compression). If the A/C switch is
pressed, only the indicator will illuminate; the A/C compressor will not operate.
