IGNITION SWITCH REMOVALVINSTALLATION
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the column cover.
3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
IGNITION SWITCH INSPECTION
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the column cover.
3. Disconnect the ignition switch connectors.
4. Inspect for continuity between the ignition switch
terminals using an ohmmeter.
• If not as specified, replace the ignition switch.

ACCESSORY SOCKET INSPECTION
1. Remove the accessory socket.
2. Inspect for continuity between the accessory
socket terminals A and B using an ohmmeter as
shown in the figure.
• If not as specified, replace the accessory
socket.

ACCESSORY SOCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the trunk side trim.
3. Remove the case by turning it counterclockwise.
4. Remove the accessory socket.
