4. Description of the device
Rear panel openings:

A sealable access port [1] allows cables, hoses or ad-
ditional sensors to be routed into the work space of the device.
A pressure compensation opening with insert [2] at the rear
panel of the device allows a compensation between the pres-
sures in the work space and in the operating room.
NOTE – Operating conditions
When accessories are to be operated in the
work space of the CO
2
incubator, the ambient
condition requirements must be observed (see
table below). The energy introduced into the
work space affects the beginning of the tem-
perature control range. When additional hea-
ting sources are introduced into the work
space, condensation (e.g. at the glass door)
may occur.
