9.4.2. Static eliminator drain wire
The static eliminator drain lines are connected to the static eliminators
located on the upstream side of the upper and lower heads. The static
electricity that is present in the paper sheet is drained through the static
eliminators. They are connected to the scanner static drain line by a
bracket that slides against the drain line. The drain lines are connected to
ground at the cable end support. The drain lines should be checked for
wear.
If the drain lines need replacing, you need:
