10. SOFTWARE RAID1

To select rebuild from the HDD in the drive bay 1 to the HDD in the drive bay 2, enter
“1”. To select rebuild from the HDD in the drive bay 2 to the HDD in the drive bay 1,
enter “2”. Make sure you select an HDD indicated as “ONLINE” as a copy source
when you select the direction of rebuild. If you enter “3”, the menu screen will return.
If you enter “1” or “2”, the screen described in “2-1: If the direction of rebuild is
automatically selected” is displayed. If you start rebuild, enter “yes”. If you enter “no”,
the menu screen will return.

3. If you enter “yes”, rebuild starts and the progress is indicated in %.

When the rebuild process is complete, a message to indicate completion is displayed
and the menu screen will return.
