Startup Suppression on Serious Failure Detection
For protection of hardware, the Equipment suppresses its own startup when any of the
following factors is detected at the startup of Windows®:
Fan abnormality
Remote shutdown input

For the cases of “Remote shutdown input” shown above, suppression of startup takes
effect only when automatic shutdown has been enabled in the “RAS Setup” window. The
startup cannot be suppressed unless the automatic shutdown is enabled. For how to use

. It should
also be noted that detection of a remote shutdown input causes the Equipment to stop
with a blue screen displaying a STOP error code. For details of the STOP error code, see
Section 6.2, “STOP Error Code”.
