Maintenance Support Commands
This section describes how to use the maintenance support commands. These commands
are used when a trouble occurred in the Equipment, or when a preventive maintenance
action is to be performed.
Table 7-2 lists the maintenance support commands.
Table 7-2 Maintenance Support Commands
Command Name
Function
logsave
When a preventive maintenance action is to be performed or when a
trouble occurred, use this command to save the log information for
preventive maintenance or analysis of the trouble.
mdump
When a STOP error or any other cause has collected memory dump, use
this command to copy the memory dump file to a portable medium.
createdmp
When a message tells you that the current memory dump file has not
enough space, use this command to allocate an area for saving the memory
dump file.
getrasinfo
Use this command to check for statuses of the Equipment such as rotation
of fans and temperature inside the cabinet.
< NOTE >
To execute each maintenance support command, you must log on to the local
computer as a member of the Administrators group.
You cannot execute multiple sessions of the same maintenance support command at a
time.
To execute each maintenance support command under Windows® 7 with User
Account Control (UAC) enabled, you must activate the command prompt as
administrator according to “(2) Activating command prompt under Windows® 7”
below.
