[Maintenance and error analysis]
(16) Memory dump collecting feature
In the event of a failure in the Equipment such as an unexpected halt, pressing the
RESET switch causes all the memory contents to be saved into a file (memory dump
file). By analyzing the contents of this memory dump file, the cause of the failure can
be inspected.
(17) STOP error-cause recording feature
This feature detects the occurrence of a blue screen by the STOP error code 0x80 and
records the error cause for the blue screen into the event log.
(18) “RAS Maintenance Support” window
With graphical look and feel, this window facilitates saving of log data and/or memory
dump files into a local drive or external drive connected to the Equipment.
(19) Maintenance support commands
These commands support maintenance actions, e.g., saving of log data and/or memory
dump files into a local drive or external drive connected to the Equipment.
(20) Internal temperature trend logging feature
This feature periodically records the temperature inside the Equipment chassis into a
log file.
